Genny & Bug Backpack Giveaway

HOW TO ENTER

The giveaway is open to residents of Canada and the US only. You can earn several entries. Here's how:

WRITE AN AMAZON REVIEW:
3 entries per book review. I have 2 books, so that's a possible 6 entries. Why so many entries, you ask? Because it's a push-button, thumbs-up, thumbs-down, smiley face world. Take pen to paper (digitally) and write a review on Amazon. It doesn’t have to be an essay; short and genuine is A-okay. 

GENNY AND BUG'S BIG ADVENTURES "BACKPACK GIVEAWAY" POST ON FACEBOOK
  • 1 entry for liking AND commenting on the “Backpack Giveaway” post. “Liking” by itself is too easy. I really want to hear from you. Write something—even if only a few words. 
  • 2 entries: Post a picture on the “Backpack Giveaway” post of you and/or your young reader(s) with either of the books.
  • Bonus entry if the picture is of you outside.
  • That's a total of 4 possible entries.

​THE AUTHOR'S PERSONAL FACEBOOK POST:
  • 1 entry for liking AND commenting on the “Backpack Giveaway” post. As above, your words inspire me, so please leave a few. Call me shallow or selfish, but "likes" don't do it for me. 
  • 2 entries: Post a picture on the “Backpack Giveaway” post of you and/or your young reader(s) with either of the books.
  • Bonus entry if the picture is of you outside.
  • That's a total of 4 possible entries. (Eight, including the Genny & Bug page and the author's page).

NOTE: Facebook prohibits sharing posts and tagging friends in order to enter a contest. If you do want to share or tag someone, that’s very kind of you. Sadly, it doesn’t earn an extra entry. Posting the contest on your own timeline is also frowned upon and will not earn an entry. I don't make the rules; I just write stories. Just so we're clear! You can absolutely share, tag etc. You just don't get an entry for doing so.

"BACKPACK GIVEAWAY" POST ON THE AUTHOR'S INSTAGRAM:
  • 1 entry for liking AND commenting on the "Backpack Giveaway" post. Comment anything at all that you like about the post or the books.
  • 1 entry for tagging a friend. Apparently that's allowed on Instagram. I just write stories. 

ODDS & SODS
  • Contest closes April 30, 2021 at midnight.
  • Draw will be made May 3, 2021.
  • Winner will be announced on the Genny & Bug's Big Adventures Facebook page. "Like" the page if you want to. If you don't want to, don't. I just write stories. 
  • It's not a requirement, but if the winner would agree to having a picture posted on the Genny & Bug Facebook page, that would be grand.
  • The winner will be chosen randomly using a third party. Obviously, the more entries you have, the greater your chances.
  • Items shipped at the author's expense. Hopefully the winner isn't off grid and only accessible by floatplane.
